Building Bridges Conference 2019
A Regional Early Years Conference
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
2019 Theme: “The Everyday Tough Stuff”
The 2019 conference theme has been developed based on the feedback and the popularity of the 2017 conference “Tackling the Tough Stuff”. It became clear that early years professionals in a range of fields were looking for more – more information about issues that families and children are facing; more information about agencies that can support professionals and families and more opportunities to hear the stories of those who have overcome challenges. You will hear from a number of well known national and local speakers who will add skills to your tool-kit and you will leave feeling better equipped to support children and families. You will be encouraged to ethically consider your own practise and to reflect on the importance of your role in the lives of children and families, and well as reflect upon taking care of yourself and colleagues.
"Building Bridges" is an analogy for strengthening partnerships between our early years services across the border and between regions, with the hope that a mutual understanding will be created and networks will be strengthened.
